Twenty-eight students. One portal. It only takes one of them.

The group votes. The vote lands on the guy whose name almost nobody in the room actually remembers.

That's the first ten minutes. Everything after is what a person does once he has already been written off.

What it is

ANOMIA is an adult visual novel about the quiet arithmetic a group performs when somebody has to be spent — and about what the spent one turns into on the other side of the gate.

Seven decisions, three paths. The story doesn't fork into routes you pick from a menu. What you choose accumulates, and by the end of the act it has settled Cassius into one of three positions toward the people who sent him through. You are never shown a number to optimise.

Three of those decisions are timed. You get eight seconds, and the scene moves on without you if you don't answer. Not answering is an answer, and it has its own consequence.

Content

18+, explicit throughout. Every character is a university student aged 20–21, and every sexual scene is between consenting adults.

Contains explicit sex including group scenes and voyeurism, nudity, violence, character death, and sustained social cruelty — a group deciding that a person is expendable is the premise, not an aside.

Status

This is the first part of a longer story, not a finished game. Act I ends where it ends, and the next act is being written. Follow the devlog for what comes next.
